East Coast Ladies 1st team travelled to Norwich Dragons 3s in hope of capitalising on last week's win.
Dragons started well and within the first 5 mins had penetrated the East Coast defence multiple times and secured a short corner. East Coast defended the short corner, cleared their lines and increased the pressure on the Dragons defence. Soon, East Coast were 1-0 up following a straight strike at a short corner. After a further period of pressure, East Coast added another goal with a well worked short corner and ended the first half 2-0 up.
The second half saw East Coast maintain intense periods of pressure on the Dragons defence with some excellent passing and team play. East Coast defended a cluster of short corners well maintaining their clean sheet and after some excellent play down both wings, East Coast added another two goals to their tally. Dragons managed to tuck away a consolation goal towards the end of the second half however East Coast continued to pressure and drive forwards managing to put away a further two goals to finish 6-1.
An excellent team performance where everyone played a great game.
